Privacy Policy

SolvaVPN is a VPN application for iOS, published by Free vpn app limited. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your data.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data.
We do not log the websites you visit, your DNS queries, or the contents of your traffic through the VPN tunnel.
We do not share data with third parties for advertising.

No accounts, no analytics

SolvaVPN has no user accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no email address to provide. The app ships without analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs — these are not “anonymised”, they are simply not present in the app.

The app makes no network requests of its own. The only traffic it creates is the VPN connection you start and the measurement probes you trigger yourself in the Tools tab, both described below. There is no server of ours for it to report to.

Data stored on your device only

Custom server credentials. If you add your own VPN server, its password or pre-shared key is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device, marked so that it never leaves that device — it is not included in backups and cannot be restored onto another one. The server’s address, label and account name are held in the app’s own storage on the same device. None of it is transmitted to us.
Usage insights. Session history, data-usage totals, favourites and settings are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded anywhere.
Measurements you run. The tools in the app probe the network only when you ask them to. A network check sends IKEv2 handshake requests over UDP to the VPN server you have selected and times the replies; it also times a single DNS lookup through whichever resolver your network is already using, to measure how fast that resolver answers. Results are shown to you and kept on your device. They are not reported to us.
Interface readings. The tunnel monitor and connection proof read your device's own network interfaces locally. Nothing is sent anywhere to produce them, and SolvaVPN never asks an outside service what your public address is — doing so would disclose that address to a third party.

Deleting the app removes its own storage from your device. Items held in the iOS Keychain — the passwords and pre-shared keys for servers you added yourself — can survive an uninstall, because that is how iOS manages the Keychain. To remove those as well, use Erase all local data in the app’s Privacy ledger before deleting it.

Our servers

When you connect through one of SolvaVPN’s built-in servers, that server necessarily handles your connection in order to route your traffic. That server does not retain a record of the sites you visit or the contents of your traffic. Operational data strictly required to run and protect the service, such as aggregate bandwidth used for abuse prevention, is not linked to your browsing activity.

Connecting to a server you add yourself involves no systems of ours at all.

VPN permission

On your first connection, iOS asks your permission to add a VPN configuration. This is required for any VPN application and the configuration is managed by iOS, not by us. You can remove it at any time in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.

Children

SolvaVPN is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
